I moved to Iredell county in 2007, shortly after I graduated from the University of Valley Forge in Pennslyvania, with a degree in Pastoral Counseling/Psychology with a Minor in social work. I fell in love with North Carolina as a young child because of my love of history and interest in the Biltmore House and Cape Hatteras Light. As a teenager, I became a fan of NASCAR and knew North Carolina would be my home one day. After college, I moved to Iredell county to start my career.
I am honored to call Iredell my home. I live in Mooresville with my wonderful husband, Kenneth, who has a thriving career in North Carolina's incredible race industry. We are blessed to have three amazing daughters whom we adopted from Latvia. With my experience working in the public and private sectors and my years working with the Iredell County Republican Party, I was appointed by the GOP as Register of Deeds in February 2021.
Since I became Register of Deeds, I have had the honor to work with the incredible members of the department and various agencies within the county. Upon taking office, my goals have been to increase the organization's efficiency, raise public awareness, and develop cost-effective solutions that save the tax-paying citizens of Iredell money well providing superior solutions.
